Masterly was tasked with creating an intuitive app for the millennial target audience to simplify their online banking needs.
The main goal was to reduce the time spent per action in the app and give users more control over finances, spending, and the ability to manage business accounting and payments online.
This is especially true for young people who have no time or interest in visiting branches.
In addition, there is a lack of time to start spending and saving more due to their busy schedules. Not being able to solve all financial issues online also contributes to this problem.
Well Bank is a fintech startup. The company's mission is to provide each and every banking facility online through its fintech app. The app allows users to access all of their accounts in one place, pay bills, transfer money and make purchases with just a few taps on the screen.
The initial research revealed that most users don't know how much money they make or how much they spend on groceries every month because they don't keep track of it themselves.
They also don't know which accounts are linked together and how much money they have in each one.
After several interviews with users about issues with current banking apps and problems they were experiencing, we realized that the biggest issue was not knowing how much money they had in their accounts.
Most users didn't know how much money they spent on groceries or what their monthly bills looked like they didn't keep track of it themselves and didn't understand how all of their accounts were connected.
To solve this problem we created a real-time feature that allows you to perform the most common tasks with just one click from the home screen.
To increase control over finances and business accounting we created a dashboard where you can see all your accounts and transactions in one place. It also allows you to set budgets for different categories such as food, rent, entertainment, etc.
We also wanted our users to have more control over their finances so we created a feature that allows you to make payments online without having to go through multiple steps or fill out forms each time you want to pay someone.
After launching our redesign, we found that:
- Users can now manage their finances on the go with improved account management features.
- Users are able to save money while they are saving time with new features that allow them to make payments from anywhere at any time.
- Users are able to solve all financial issues online through a new chat feature.
Our design process included six key phases: user research, in-depth interviews, analysis, architecture, prototyping and UI design.
At every stage our professional team members were involved to get the best result for our client.
